Alcohol And Tobacco Commission (ATC) Permit

Any person, business, or corporation that sells alcohol in the State of Indiana must have an Alcohol and Tobacco Commission (ATC) Permit. A Property Tax Clearance Schedule - Form No. 1 (form) signed by the county treasurer of the county of the permit location is required for a new permit, renewal of a permit, or transfer of a permit.

To receive a singed form a completed form must be delivered to the county treasurer in one of the following ways:

  1.  In person - The completed form must be in our office no later than 3:30 PM to receive a signed form the same day. If multiple forms are delivered on or after 3:30 PM, they will be process the next business day.
  2.  Mail - Include with the completed form a self-addressed enveloped and phone number or email address. For a new ATC Permit or renewal of an ATC Permit all property and business taxes associated with the person, business, or corporation must be current.

For a transfer of an ATC Permit all property and business taxes associated with the person business, or corporation must be paid through the assessment period of the taxes. If the taxes paid included an estimated amount of taxes, then any additional taxes due after the tax bill is calculated must be paid before an ATC Permit Renewal Property Tax Clearance Schedule - Form No. 1 will be signed by the county treasurer.
