Biography:
The Hon. Matthew G. Hanson has been the presiding judge of Morgan Circuit Court since first elected in November of 2000.
Hanson earned a bachelor’s degree from Wabash College in 1991 and a J.D. at the University of Toledo College of Law in 1994.
After graduating law school, Hanson opened and ran his private law practice in Indianapolis. He was a Deputy Prosecutor in Morgan County Prosecutor’s Office.
He is a veteran of the Indiana National Guard having served as a Major with the Judge Advocate General’s Corps in Baghdad, Iraq.
