Instructions for paying your ticket before Court date:
- Find fine amount from Fee sheet.
- DO NOT SEND CASH – only cashiers check’s or money orders will be accepted for mailed in payments.
- Make payable to Martinsville City Court.
- Sign ticket and mail in with payment.
- If you wish to have a receipt – send in a self address/self stamped envelope.
- If you wish to pay by credit card call the City Court at 765-342-1259 or 1-866-480-8552 or online at http://www.paygov.us.
Appear on Court Date:
- You may request extra time to pay.
- You can discuss your options with the prosecutor.
- You can plead not guilty and request a trial.
- Failing to appear or pay the ticket prior to your court date will result in a license suspension and/or an arrest warrant.
A $25.00 late fee will be added for any payments made after first court date – with the exception of seatbelt tickets.
PLEASE NOTE:
- The court does not return voice mail messages
- Not reaching or contacting the court is not a defense in your case
