Child Support

The Child Support Division (also known as Title IV-D) of the Morgan County Prosecutor’s Office provides services to establish paternity, establish a child support order, enforce a current child support order, or to modify an existing child support order. The program has a variety of tools available such as, but not limited to, parent locator service, tax refund offset, state license suspension, vehicle liens, passport denial, credit bureau reporting, and income wage withholding orders.

A request for services must be made in writing and may be submitted in person or by mail to the Child Support Division Office, 54 E. Jackson St., Martinsville, IN, or by FAX to (765) 342-1107. Once the request for services has been received, an application and information packet will be mailed out to the person requesting services. You may also apply using the PDF enrollment form ( https://forms.in.gov/Download.aspx?id=4929 ) or apply entirely online at ( https://dcswebapps.dcs.in.gov/IVDEnrollmentFormSite/Default ) Once an enrollment form is received by the local Child Support Division it will be assigned to a caseworker.

The child support office is often times asked questions relating to child custody and visitation. Please be advised that the child support office cannot answer these sorts of questions. Should you have any questions you are best advised to consult with a private attorney, contact a legal services assistance organization or the self-service center of the Indiana Supreme Court.
