Policy for Genealogy Research

1. Please complete an application form for each birth/death record you are requesting information on.
   • Identification will be requested.
2. We ask that you give office personnel a minimum of four (4) business days to complete the search.
3. You will be notified of the findings and may then send your fee.
4. Genealogy records for birth/death are $5 each.
5. Certified birth/death records are $18 each.

Vital Records for Morgan County began in 1900. Only births or deaths that occurred in Morgan County are registered with this department.
