Morgan County Public Safety Dispatch/911 (MCPSD) strives to provide the most effective emergency communications possible for all citizens and first responders.

Morgan County Public Safety Dispatch/911 handles emergency and non-emergency telephone and radio communications for Law, Fire, and EMS in Morgan County, Indiana. In 2015, Morgan County Public Safety Dispatch/911 was created by consolidating telecommunicators from the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office and the Martinsville City Police Department.

MCPSD handles more then 20,000 911 calls and 50,000 administrative-line calls per year with a staff of 21 telecommunicators. MCPSD dispatches for six law enforcement agencies, two EMS agencies, and ten fire departments.
