PCE Plume - Pike & Mulberry Streets

EPA Superfund Site at Pike & Mulberry Streets in Martinsville

The EPA has been working on the Superfund Site at Pike and Mulberry Streets in Martinsville. This is because of a PCE Plume that was first remediated in the early 2000’s. Please see the links below for more information.

If you are concerned about a well on your property, the Morgan County Health Department may be able to test the water for VOC’s, specifically PCE/TCE, within the known affected area. If you are not in the known affected area, you may have your water tested at a private lab at your own expense (please review the list of qualified labs, marked under “Chemistry” as able to test VOC’s ).
