Commissioner Hale was the Morgan County Plan Director/Floodplain Manager for 15 yrs. (2004-2019), Morgan County 911 Coordinator for 23 yrs. (1997-2020), County Council for 16 yrs. (1999-2014), Morgan County Purchasing Agent of the RDC & FEMA land acquisitions project (2005-current), INAFSM (Indiana Association of Floodplain Management) Executive Board of Directors 7 Yrs. (2012-2019) as Chairman, Vice-Chair, Past Chair & Conference Chair and is still an INAFSM member in good standing, Artesian Little League Executive Board 8 yrs. (2004-2012) as Chairman, Vice-Chair & Past Chair as well as coaching for 15 yrs. (1999-2014). Mr. Hale was sole-proprietor of Hales Auto Repair, Smokey Shish kebobs for 16 yrs. He is an ASE Certified Tech, certified welder & heavy equipment operator. In his spare time, Mr. Hale has been a demolition derby driver and an off-road racer racing the MAORA (MID-AMERICAN OFFROAD RACING ASSOCIATION) series. He has been married over 41 yrs. to the most wonderful wife Connie and they have two wonderful daughters.
